Job Description:
Today, our Church is looking for a local, mature Pastor that lives in the area that will lead our congregation spiritually, create new disciples and is biblically centered. The new Pastor characteristics should reflect a "proven experience" that is enthusiastic, organized, prepares and delivers their sermon with an ability to make Scripture come alive for our congregation.
The new Pastor will be responsible for all aspects of ensuring the congregation is connecting with one another and building community through a strong, healthy, and biblically centered ministry. This includes the development and execution of an annual plan to build our congregation spiritually and disciples, group leader recruitment, group development, ongoing leadership and coaching of group leaders.
As Pastor, you will be a part of our leadership team, have your own office, computer/printer, internet, and an expense account for the use of meeting with members and potential disciples.

About Centerville Community Church:
The Centerville Community Church is located in Paris, Ky. We are an Independent Church that is more conservative, evangelical, and biblically centered. The congregation has 25 active members with an average age of 46 attending Sunday Services. The church is about 110 years old and we have a new fellowship hall.
Job Qualifications:
This position requires 3 years of experience as a staff member in a ministry leadership capacity. Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in biblical studies or a related field. However, extensive ministry experience, in some cases can be substituted. The successful individual will be a strong leader with a a solid work ethic.
